Marama is the founder of Essential Wellbeing Therapeutic Retreats. She holds a diploma of energy healing from Nature Care College. She is also a Reiki Master/teacher, a Metagetic bio-Spiritual Kinesiology Practitioner and developed the causal plane essences. 

A private consultation with Marama is always a nurturing experience. She believes strongly that we are all "spiritual beings having a human experience" and works with many different techniques to bring her clients into balance on all levels aspects and dimensions.

Marama makes a point of meeting her clients wherever they are and guiding them to where they would like to be. Her down to earth style and physics background give a unique and very grounded perspective to her teaching and private consultations.

She has had particular success in assisting clients suffering from chronic depression, anxiety, chronic pain and difficulty coping with life's changes. She has worked with people from all walks of life and her mastery of subtle and profound energy makes physical distance no barrier to her work (except of course for massage and other body work...). She has clients in England & America as well as Australia.

Marama also runs regular workshops in Reiki, muscle testing and dowsing. Her intuitive massage is suitable for use during pregnancy.

Vivianne Elliott

Having spent much of her life since early childhood with obesity & digestive problems, Vivianne formalised the skills she developed in healing herself by studying  Nutrition through Nature Care College. After 4 years of study, Vivianne gained a Diploma of Nutrition (Naturopathic). 

Vivianne worked as a lecturer in the weight loss industry for several years and so possess not only knowledge but also a wealth of empathy for those trying to achieve health & contentment. Whether you need guidance & support to achieve your health goals, dietary treatment for specific conditions, or a review of your current diet, Vivianne can help.

Emma studied at the Australasian College of Natural Therapies, obtaining a Diploma of Remedial Massage and is a member of the ATMS.

Emma strongly believes in the benefits of massage, physical, spiritual and mental. Her goal is to have her clients functioning at their optimum.  Whether you are suffering from an injury, chronic pain or just looking to take some time out of your busy day to relax, Emma will tailor her approach to your specific needs. 

Emma has found that today’s society dictates a fast paced way of life with pressures to fit as much as possible into a day. This additional pressure can result in negative affects on your body. Emma will help you to boost your health and wellbeing through massage and a general awareness of your body and its maintenance, so that you can be more productive in whatever you do.

Emma holds a Diploma of Health Science from The College of Complementary Medicine and is a member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society.

Kinesiology became a passion of Emma’s 5 years ago when she saw the effects of it on her brother. Since then, she has seen first hand the benefits of the holistic approach through her own clients and personal treatments.

In each session Emma’s aim is to empower her clients to discover more about themselves and to help them to move through life with more ease and happiness. As every person is unique Emma will provide a treatment that is just right for you which aims to overcome anything from aches and pains to addictions, as well as emotional issues and psychological disorders.

Shan has always been fascinated with bodywork and passionate about people!  She has undertaken extensive travel and training, enabling her to help you achieve enriched health and vitality.  Having studied osteopathy, many forms of massage, soft tissue and cranial therapies, Shan has a deep structural, mechanical and intuitive knowledge to bring to your treatment.  Each session is specifically tailored to you. 

She has extensive experience in holistic health maintenance and remedial care, prevention and treatment of musculoskeletal problems, sports training and rehabilitation, stress relief and maternal health.  (She is particularly good with headaches and back pain.)  Shan’s clients truly believe she has magic hands!

Joanna Radke-Szymanski, MA, AYMA

Joanna is a qualified and experienced yoga teacher. She has been practicing yoga for 7 years, and teaching since 2004, focusing on the therapeutic, preventative and spiritual benefits of yoga. 

Joanna has studied humanities and completed her Master of Arts degree at the University of Sydney. She worked as a teacher, trainer, neuro educator, IT lecturer and consultant for over 16 years. Inspired by yoga, she left a successful career in IT to follow her calling - teaching yoga and sharing its transformational benefits.

Joanna had developed a strong personal yoga and meditation practice before obtaining a formal Yoga Teacher’s qualification from the Sarasvati Yoga Society, under the guidance of one of the most respected Yoga Masters in Australia, the great Swami Sarasvati. Joanna has studied traditional Hatha Yoga, but she has also explored Iyengar and Sivananda Yoga. She holds a teacher membership in the Australian Yoga Masters Association. 

Joanna’s classes and private sessions are suitable for anyone wanting to simply feel good, regardless of their age or fitness level. The sessions are conducted in a nurturing and relaxing atmosphere, with attention to individual needs and abilities. Instruction is individualized to allow both beginners and intermediate yogis, as well as students with specific needs, to experience the effects of yoga through the mindful practice of breathing techniques, postures, deep relaxation and meditation. The flow of a class can vary from very gentle to dynamic. Through Yoga, Joanna encourages her students to practise self-awareness on a physical level, as well as mentally and spiritually. This practical skill can help restore the balance between the body and mind, and improve the quality of daily life.

Liz has been a member of the Australian Psychological Society for over 30 years.  She specialised in working with adolescents and their families for  15 years and for the last couple of years has concentrated on working with adults.

Liz is particularly interested in trauma based therapy and is especially concerned to help people get relief from their fears, worries and anxieties.  She is also a Buddhist practitioner and works within a Buddhist philosophical framework.

Greg is a trained and experienced NLP practitioner & counsellor, and also works as a training facilitator and corporate team coach. He applies NLP through Solution Oriented Counselling, and has a particular interest in life improvement - working with a range of issues from stress and depression through to achieving valued goals and happiness. Greg has over 500 hours of NLP training in Counselling and Hypnosis. Greg is currently employed part-time as a domestic violence counsellor and as a personal interest he volunteers with Lifeline Australia and the Australian Coast Guard.
